Lawn Bowls Continues To Grow

To say that 2016 was a successful season would be an understatement, as we look back at the Outdoor year it was filled with many success stories both on and off the Greens. The Province held a Canadian Junior Championships, Canadian Singles Championship, a successful North American Challenge and will host the Canadian Indoor Championships on Oct 30th-Nov 5th at the PIBC. Participation numbers continued to rise with many Local Tournaments, Charity Events and Corporate functions. The Sport continues to gain steam in popularity throughout the Province of British Columbia. Let's take a look back over the past few months. 


Mary Wright Wins Canadian Singles Title...

British Columbia Lawn Bowler Mary Wright has won her second Gold Medal in the last 3 weeks as she has just won the 2016 Canadian Singles title at the West Vancouver LBC this past weekend. Congratulations to Pricilla Westlake from the Tsawwassen Lawn Bowling Club, as she retained her Canadian title this weekend at the North Vancouver LBC.
