edmonton4_3921354453912572216_nThe 2014 Canadian Singles has been going on over the past week and BC has been well represented throughout the tournament as 5 players from BC attended the National Event to try and stake claim for the rights to head over seas to represent Canadian at the 2015 World Championships.

Malcolm Taylor (North Van LBC) has been leading the way as he has looked bullet proof heading through the Round Robin play so far. He is now in the round of 8 and looking strong. Michael Leong (Granville Park LBC) and Kin On Lau (Richmond LBC) round out the field for our Men.

Young Gun Pricilla Westlake (Tsawwassen LBC) has been strutting her stuff out with the best across Canada as she is right in the mix with the ladies. She is currently battling for a spot for the Bronze Medal round and needs one more win and a little help to get over the line. Unfortunately our Women’s Champ Marie Taylor (North Vancouver LBC)  has fallen victim to a bug and hasn’t been able to play throughout the week, more news to come on the situation but we wish Marie all the best as we know it must be difficult to get that far and not be able to play.
