info@bowlsbc.com Bowls BC has been working hard to provide more opportunities for its members to participate in tournaments throughout the winter. Having a facility like the Pacific Indoor Bowls Club gives BC Bowlers the chance to play 12 months a year. Our Indoor season is from October-April and Outdoor May-September, showing that more time is spent inside rather than out, but in the past having less tournaments. To change this, Bowls BC has been working closely with the PIBC to help increase participation for Indoor Bowling. There is a great opportunity for people to get out and enjoy Bowls throughout the winter and experience a world class facility.
Not only will there be Provincial tournaments but the Mixed Pairs Championship will be a direct qualifier to represent British Columbia, Canada at an International event being held by the Word Indoor Bowls Council (WIBC). The Championships will be held this year in Swansea, Wales UK from April 11-14, 2017. http://www.swanseaindoorbowls.co.uk/
