Bowls BC will be hosting their Annual General Meeting on Saturday March 25, 2017 at the North Vancouver Lawn Bowling Club at 2160 Lonsdale Avenue, North Vancouver. Start time is 11:00 am and lunch will be served. As usual we will be discussing the 2016 Bowls BC programs, initiatives and competitions as well as the schedule of events to be held throughout the province in 2017. We will be presenting our proposed 2017 budget and voting in the next slate of the Board of Management. BowlsBC covers travel expenses for 1 attendee.
We will be voting-in the positions of President (2 year term), Treasurer (2 year term), Director of Operations (2 year term) and the Director of Sport Development and Education (1 year term). We are accepting nominations for these positions. Nominations can be forwarded to Jim Aitken, Nominations Committee Chair at nominations@bowlsbc.com Please forward our request for nominations to your club members. More details about nominations in the attached documents.
As usual we will be sending out the agenda and Board reports two weeks in advance of the AGM. Please plan to attend or have a club representative attend in your absence.
