Bowls BC Provincial Singles Championships Conclude with Thrilling Matches at Juan De Fuca LBC
Victoria, BC – July 8, 2024 – The Bowls BC Provincial Singles Championships wrapped up over the weekend at the picturesque Juan De Fuca Lawn Bowling Club, showcasing the best talent in the province with a remarkable display of skill and sportsmanship. The event saw 32 men and 18 women competing fiercely for the coveted titles.
In the Ladies’ Championship, Rainbow Leung, (Richmond LBC) emerged victorious, displaying exceptional prowess on the green. Lung triumphed over Bobbi-Jean Charlton (Victoria LBC) in a highly competitive final, earning the title of Provincial Champion. Bronze Medal was awarded to Lynda Robbins (Juan De Fuca LBC).
The Men’s Championship saw Kin On Lau (Richmond LBC) claiming the top spot, delivering an outstanding performance against Jim Dulholke (West Vancouver LBC) in the final match. Lau’s strategic play and precision secured him the championship title. The Bronze Medal was awarded to William Whitelaw (Juan De Fuca LBC)
