This year Bowls Canada made the Senior Triples a national event instead of the regular Triples, and required all players to be 65+ by January 1st this year. While this meant some teams had to withdraw, it was a very successful tournament with 10 women’s teams and 7 men’s teams competing for honours over the.

A Tale of Two Greens: Provincial Fours Championships The first three major outdoor provincial tournaments will be hosted on Vancouver Island in 2026, in part because Island bowlers are due and in part because the Lower Mainland is overrun with FIFA fever. The first championship, the Provincial Fours, was held June 19-21 between Lake Hill and Gordon.

Bowls BC has received so many entries (50 and counting!) for the Women's & Men's Provincial Singles Championships (July 10 — 12) that we need two clubs to host instead of just one. Therefore the men will play at Stanley Park Lawn Bowling Club, while Granville Park Lawn Bowling Club has kindly stepped up to host.

The Lawn Bowling season is officially underway across British Columbia, and there is a real sense of excitement building at clubs throughout the province. As bowlers return to the green and new members discover the sport for the first time, clubs are reporting strong participation and growing interest in lawn bowls. Membership drives continue to generate.

2026 BC Provincial Men's Indoor Singles Tournament Once again, the Pacific Indoor Bowling Club stepped up to host the cream of our men's indoor singles bowlers. This year the tournament attracted the most registrants ever, with 32 bowlers signing up to compete. The level of skill displayed across the board was world class despite the variance.

With more than 50 family, friends, coworkers and bowlers there to cheer her on, Josephine Lee was inducted into the Burnaby Sports Hall of Fame during the Class of 2025 Induction Banquet on Friday, April 10th at Burnaby Riverway Clubhouse. It was a lavish affair where Josephine and her fellow inductees, Sean Fleming (athlete), Ariana VanDerStarre.

2026 BC Provincial Women's Singles Tournament — March 27-29

The Pacific Indoor Lawn Bowling Club is a world class facility and the only one of its kind in North America. As such it is no surprise that they have been hosting the BC Provincial Women's Indoor Singles tournament every year it has been held.

BC Singles Championships Wrap-Up at New Westminster LBC The 2025 BC Singles Championships took place this past weekend at the historic New Westminster Lawn Bowling Club, bringing together some of the province's top bowlers in a thrilling display of skill, focus, and determination. The Gold Medal winners will advance to the 2025 Canadian Championships being held.

Over the weekend of July 4th - 6th the ladies best Provincial pairs teams came together to compete at the sunshine filled  North Vancouver LBC in an attempt at the title as the provincial Gold medalist. 16 teams came together with great enthusiasm on the Friday and began the competition through the qualifying and seeding rounds..

Men’s Pairs Championships  Throughout the weekend of July 04-06 the Men’s best Provincial pairs teams came together at the beautiful New Westminster LBC for their bid at capturing the title as the provinces Gold medalist. 24 teams assembled on the Friday and began the competition through the modified round robin 6 game gauntlet. Sunday saw 8 teams.
