The 2025 BC Singles Championships took place this past weekend at the historic New Westminster Lawn Bowling Club, bringing together some of the province’s top bowlers in a thrilling display of skill, focus, and determination. The Gold Medal winners will advance to the 2025 Canadian Championships being held in Edmonton Alberta.
On the Women’s side, it was Linda Ng who rose to the top, claiming the Gold Medal. Dianne Brynjolfson secured Silver, while Zoe Chan earned a well-deserved Bronze, rounding out a talented field.
In the Men’s Division, congratulations go to Kin On Lau, who captured the Gold Medal after a weekend of strong play. Mehdi Bahrami earned Silver, with Stephen Yung taking home the Bronze following a highly competitive bracket.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the many volunteers, umpires, and organizers whose dedication and efforts made the event a smooth and successful one. Your contributions continue to strengthen our lawn bowling community and help grow the game across British Columbia.
