Insurance Information

Bowls BC negotiates liability insurance coverage for itself, member districts, and member clubs and their registered participants through SBC Insurance (broker); the current policy is underwritten by Trinity Underwriting.

All members of your organization, including executives, managers, coaches, trainers, officials, employees and volunteers are covered while acting within the scope of their duties on your behalf during sanctioned events. Additionally, your directors and officers are protected for actual or alleged errors or omissions while performing their duties as officials of the organization,

UPDATE — March 10, 2026

With apologies, we allowed the information posted to this page to become outdated and are currently working to rectify the discrepancies. We will clarify the insurance coverages:

1. At the AGM on March 21, 2026.
2. Through a new Summary of Insurance Coverage that will be posted as soon as it is received from the broker.
3. During an online presentation, aimed at Members, by the broker in April; notice will follow.
