info@bowlsbc.com The BC Provincial Pairs Championships was hosted by Juan de Fuca Lawn Bowling Club in Victoria from July 3rd to 5th. The tournament was well supported with 26 men’s teams and 18 women’s teams, so we are fortunate that the club has 4 greens to easily accommodate such a large group.
The results after a weekend of strong competition were as follows:
Men
Gold – James MacGowan & Aaron Almeida
Silver – Brian Michell & Eric Ewen
Bronze – Peter Smith & Jay Huang
Women
Gold – Linda Ng & June Huang
Silver – Shannon Baggot & Betty McDougall
Bronze – Marnie Dangerfield & Anita Wah
Congratulations to our provincial champions and all the competitors!
Our thanks to everyone who made this tournament a success including the host club, the kitchen crew, the convenors and scorekeepers, the umpires and the greens crew.
