Bowls BC Calls For Nominations

Bowls BC will be conducting elections at the AGM in March 2018 for the following positions: 

• Vice President- 2-year term
• Secretary- 2-year term
• Director of Administration -2-year term
• Director of Sport Development and Education- 2-year term

We invite you to consider becoming a part of the Board of Management and take an active role in governance. Consider sharing your experience, visions and commitment. We meet approximately every 2 weeks from September to March via Google Hangouts. The frequency of meeting is changeable and dependent upon need and urgency. We meet face to face 2-3 times per year. Cost of attending is covered by Bowls BC and alternates between Vancouver and Vancouver Island.

We are also seeking individuals who would prefer not to assume a governance role but wish to share their expertise via committee involvement. Please contact the Nominating Committee should you have any queries please contact: nominations@bowlsbc.com Nominations and self nominations will also be accepted from the floor on the day of the AGM.

Online submissions end on February 28,2018. A written acceptance of each nominee will be filed by the secretary, if submitted online. Nominations from the floor must be agreed upon by the nominee in writing or verbally. The Chair of the Nominating Committee will present the slate at the AGM.
