info@bowlsbc.com The Bowls BC Men’s Indoor Singles Championships were held at PIBC this last weekend. There were twenty-two entrants, each playing four round robin games and the highest scoring eight making it to the knockout rounds. The Gold Medal Game was played by Earl Luk and Jim Duholke. Earl won the first set and Jim won the second. Therefore, there had to be a three-end tiebreaker. Jim Duholke won the tiebreaker and won the Gold medal. Earl taking the Silver medal. The Bronze medal game was between Alan Wass and Eric Leung. Alan won the Bronze medal in two sets. The Gold and Silver medal winners will compete in the Bowls Canada Indoor Singles Qualifier in October, which will also be held at PIBC.
On April 25-27, PIBC will be hosting the Bowls BC indoor Women’s Singles. Come out and watch some fantastic bowls.
