info@bowlsbc.com It was a fantastic weekend of lawn bowls as New Westminster was the setting once again this year as they hosted the 2019 British Columbia Mixed Pairs Championships.
Carey Manns / Gigi Lai were a force to be reckon with all weekend as they would go undefeated through a tough field to eventually win the gold medal game over Eric Leung / Rainbow Lung. The Bronze medal was awarded to husband and wife duo
Malcolm / Marie Taylor who would beat young guns Jon Braun / Venessa Siu.
Speaking with Carey Manns, he had nothing but praise for his partner. “Gigi was outstanding out there all weekend, she definitely deserves quite a bit of credit for making my job as skip easier by playing so well”.
