It was a great weekend of Lawn Bowling as both Women and Men participated in Bowls BC Indoor qualifying event at the Qualicum Beach Lawn Bowling. This was the first time that a qualifier was held with the winners (Women's 1st Place and Men's 1st, 2nd and 3rd place) receiving funds and travel expenses to participate.

The International Bowls For The Disabled World Championships are taking place in Lower Hutt, New Zealand. The competition runs from February 16th through 27th, 2015 at the Hutt Bowling Club and Naenae Bowling Club. Competitors from all over the World have gathered in New Zealand to try and become this years World Champion.
The 2014 Canadian Singles has been going on over the past week and BC has been well represented throughout the tournament as 5 players from BC attended the National Event to try and stake claim for the rights to head over seas to represent Canadian at the 2015 World Championships.
