The King of the Carpet is going on this weekend at the Pacific Indoor Bowls Club as the 2016 BC Men's Indoor Championships are currently being played.  Players from across the Province had made their way to the PIBC to earn the chance to represent British Columbia at this year's Canadian Championships. Shannon and Steven Santana - West Vancouver, BC Steven Santana from the West Vancouver LBC was recently acknowledged at the 17th annual North Shore Sport Awards held at the West Vancouver Community Centre atrium. Santana was nominated in the Open Male category for all of his achievements throughout the year in the Sport.

The BC Indoor Championship season is upon us and the Women have started this weekend April 1-3 at the Pacific Indoor Bowls Club. Pricilla Westlake and Jaymee Sidel are off to Australia to compete in the 2016 World Junior Championship being held at the Broadbeach Bowls Club in Queensland. This will be the first time that the two BC friends have both competed at the International level together. Not only will the two girls be there, Canada.

Westlake was participating in the 2016 World Cup at the Warilla Bowls & Recreation Club in NSW, Australia. Our 21 year old, Pricilla Westlake now heads into the Semi-Finals with another Malaysian Bowler in her path to the World Cup title.
