It was a fantastic weekend of Lawn Bowls as the BC Provincial Championships were held to determine this years Champions. This year the format would change back to Round Robin play allowing players to play a few games throughout to get ready for the knockout rounds. With some great action being played and favourites getting knocked.

The BC Youth Championships was held over the weekend and it was a great turnout as the Province's best Youth Bowlers took to the green to win the right to represent BC at the Canadian Youth Championships being held later this summer at the St. James Lawn Bowling Club in Winnipeg. It was last years Champ.

It was another great weekend of Bowls at the North Vancouver LBC as players from across the Province headed to the NVLBC for both the Women's and Men's Fours Provincial Championships. With much on the line as both the Gold and Silver Teams will represent British Columbia at the Canadian Championships at the end of.

The BC Provincial Fours is being played this weekend at the North Vancouver LBC. The weekend started with 14 Women's Teams and 16 Men's Team. The round robin format was adopted for the next couple years that will see pool play through the first couple days based on the team entries. On the Women's side heading.

The Test Match held May 25-27 in Juan de Fuca against Alberta was a great success for both Teams.The Senior and Youth players melded well and put up a great show. Juniors were able to play alongside seasoned veterans. The event provides Juniors and U25 the opportunity to learn and develop skills conducive to the guidelines outlined.

The Battle of Bowls in the West will take place this weekend on Vancouver Island as members from Bowls BC and Bowls Alberta will be facing off each other in a series of different disciplines. The two Provinces will be going head to head in a brand new format, that will see the two Provinces.

What a great couple weeks of Indoor Bowls, as the Pacific Indoor Bowls Club was in full flight as Bowls BC hosted four Provincial Championships. This was the second year that Bowls BC displayed the Provinces finest with the Mixed Pairs, Triples, Pairs and Singles competitions The past two weekend saw the BC Indoor Singles.
