Founded in 1932, the Vancouver & District Bowls Association(V&DBA) has 22 member clubs, several of which have celebrated.

It was a great night for Pricilla as her local council honoured here with an award of achievement. Another great moment for her that tops off an amazing run for her. From Pricilla, Tonight I stood in front of city council and thanked them for the certificate of achievement they gave me at their council meeting this.

It will be another busy year for the JDF members as they get ready to for a full slate at the Bowls Club in Victoria, BC. Always an active Club when it comes to hosting tournaments, they always have their hand up for competitions like the North American Challenge (Canada vs USA), National and Provincial.

It was a great weekend of Indoor Bowls as the Women took to the carpet to try and win the Singles Crown. Having a 3 tournament schedule (Triples, Pairs, Mixed) everyone was tuned up ready to roll in this individual competition. This is a direct qualifier to represent British Columbia at the Canadian Indoor Championships.

Its been a fantastic couple of weeks for Pricilla Westlake as it has been Bowls 24/7 for the young BC superstar. Heading out to Warrilla Australia for her 1st stop at the World Cup she produced some great games just falling short of the qualifying rounds. After the World Cup it was a quick.

Bowls BC will be hosting their Annual General Meeting on Saturday March 25, 2017 at the North Vancouver Lawn Bowling Club at 2160 Lonsdale Avenue, North Vancouver.  Start time is 11:00 am and lunch will be served.  As usual we will be discussing the 2016 Bowls BC programs, initiatives and competitions as well as the.

Pricilla Westlake (TLBC) of Delta, British Columbia is a rising Lawn Bowls star and is quickly making a name for herself on the International scene. She has more stamps in her passport then it can handle and will add another one as she heads back out overseas to Australia as she tries to add more hardware to her.

It was another great weekend of Bowls at the Pacific Indoor Bowls Club as it was one of the highlights of the Indoor Series as it was an International Qualifier and the chance to represent British Columbia in the UK was on the line. In total there were 17 Teams that fought it out.

Another weekend of Bowls is just around the corner and this is a big one for BC Bowlers as the Indoor Mixed Qualifier is ready to take place at the Pacific Indoor Bowls Club. The new indoor tournaments have a been a huge success as many new Bowlers are heading to the PIBC to.

Another great weekend of BC Indoor Bowls as the Pacific Indoor Bowls Club was home to the 1st ever Indoor Pairs Championship. The Championship was held over Friday, Saturday and Sunday as there were 8 Women’s and 12 Men’s teams registered for a total of 40 bowlers.  After some great Round Robin.
